About the System

The Direct-Line Box filling system operates on a count signal from the molding machine - it can also be programmed to operate on a signal from a robot, weigh-scale hopper, etc.

How Does It Work?

The number of machine shots per container are programmed into the controller. Empty containers are loaded onto the indexing conveyor and the system is started.

  • The under press conveyor begins feeding parts into the container. When the pre-set number of shots per container is reached, the feeding conveyor stops.
  • The indexing conveyor indexes the filled container to the storage conveyor, and an empty container into the fill position.
  • The controller restarts the feeding conveyor and the cycle repeats. (Note: The controller continues to count shots, even when the feeding conveyor is stopped.)
