About
the System
The
Direct-Line Box filling system operates on a count signal from
the molding machine - it can also be programmed
to operate on a signal from a robot, weigh-scale hopper, etc.
|
How Does
It Work?
The number
of machine shots per container are programmed into the controller.
Empty containers are loaded onto the indexing conveyor and the
system is started.
- The
under press conveyor begins feeding parts into the container.
When the pre-set number of shots per container is reached,
the feeding
conveyor stops.
- The
indexing conveyor indexes the filled container to the
storage conveyor,
and an empty container into the fill position.
- The
controller restarts the feeding conveyor and the
cycle repeats. (Note:
The controller continues to count shots, even when
the feeding conveyor is stopped.)
